The Equine Canada Rider Level program helps riders improve by testing their skills through written exams, practical knowledge, and riding tests (both jumping and flatwork). Skill sessions are offered to prepare students, followed by evaluations of their written, stable management, and riding abilities.

Why get tested?

Any rider who can safely trot in a group setting is eligible to participate in testing.

The Rider Level Program provides numerous benefits, including increased self-esteem, confidence, and patience; the development of respect and compassion for animals; and the chance to form lasting friendships. Additionally, it helps improve balance, muscle strength, coordination, and reaction time. The program offers a positive way to set and achieve horsemanship goals and serves as a pathway toward becoming a Certified Instructor or Coach.
